What a great State Park! For the most part it was relatively quiet from other families. The park itself was beautiful I highly recommend it.
The bathrooms were also very clean as well as the park itself.
Awesome place. Clean, quiet, calm. Can not wait to go camping there! The lake was great!
Best Lil State Park in Texas! If you are out for the day or stay and camp, this is the place. The lake is small but the swimming hole is large. It has a dock you can swim out to and jump off, you can see your toenail polish!! There is a huge hill that you must walk down, but extremely worth it. We day camp here all the time. We have inflatable Kayaks that we we use routinely. The RV camp sites all have sewer, water, and electric. You will need a car to get to the swimming hole, or you can hike there from your site. There is a park store on site too. They sale swim diapers, treats, drinks, etc... They have horseshoes, fishing poles, paddle boats, and canoes too. We love DSP!!
This was my husband and I's first stop on our 10 day road trip and we have to go back! It was gorgeous! I'm giving it a 4 instead of a 5 because we were only there for a few hours
