This is a great place for everyone. We went with our 3 year old. She loved touching everything and seeing all the different exhibits. Me and my husband would liked to have stayed longer, but toddlers are on the move. Close to Dealey Plaza where JFK was assassinated. Also close to the Holocaust Museum and Aquarium. Tons of places to eat in downtown.
Such a fun museum to go to!! It's got about 4 levels all that differ from one another. I would say the bottom level or two are kid friendly and the top two are mostly science which they won't find interesting. They have a very nice area outside for you to eat as well as some frog statues for the kids to take pictures with or play with. I loved it and will go again!
Its a really great museum to take your kids too. Lots of hands on exhibits. And huge!
We bought a membership for a year and made it there 2x. My kids went with us, then with school and then I took them back again over Spring Break. They were in middle school and high school. On the 3rd visit they were bored and we left earlier than I expected because of it. We did not renew the membership. I was unimpressed with all the political correct crap that we keep getting shoved down our throats with regard to environmentalism...Visit it if you must...it's one of the things everyone says you must do if you are in Dallas.
