“With World-Renowned Stained Glass”
Designed by Philip Johnson, Thanks-Giving Square promotes the spirit and value of giving thanks in our community, nation and the world. The Square includes a park, chapel and museum, featuring a bell tower, courtyard and a spiral chapel with a world-renowned stained glass window.
My boyfriend and I visited Thanks-Giving Square in Dallas on our last trip there. It is a wonderful place even if you are religious or not, you have to visit the chapel, it’s design is brilliant and you will surely admire it. The outdoor park has a beautiful waterfall where you can find quiet in a peaceful environment. The museum is very interesting too. The visiting hours are kind of strange so make sure that it is open before you visit it. I have to inform you that some people, probably homeless, live in the park.
I stumbled across this chapel in January of 2011. I could stare at the stain glass ceiling for hours!
