Welcome Center North of Davis City

Tourism information on the area and the state of Iowa; wireless Internet. From the high ground where the visitor center is located; travelers can see prairies; uplands; wetlands; and oak savannas. The rich texture of nature in this area is reflected in a band of terra-cotta blocks that surround the rest area building. The interior of the building features glazed ceramic tiles with oak leaf motifs and a mosaic tile "river."
