“good food. good friends.”
Located in the Ballpark District, Armoury offers beer from Colorado and Europe, spirits heavy on browns and a food menu featuring fresh, made from scratch salads, soups, sandwiches and pizza. Armoury is the brainchild of Kristian Baehre, the former owner of Highland Tavern. Baehre is a lifelong fan of soccer, European culture and a supporter of the local indie music scene. He's perfect person to run the pub as the concept combines both of his passions as well as his restaurant management and expertise. Soccer is broadcast on four 50" flatscreens and a 7-foot big screen with surround sound available upon request. Armoury opens as early as 6:00 a.m. on weekend game days and hosts Colorado Rapids "watch" parties with bus service to and from Rapid home games. Soccer is the focal point during Premier League, Champions League, World Cup and MLS matches. The big screen rolls up to reveal a live music stage that is home to local emerging indie, soul, funk and reggae groups. On the weekends, DJs spin everything from 50s music to contemporary house, with the occasional dose of national touring acts performing on their way through Denver. Executive Chef Brian Laird, formerly of Barolo Grill, has crafted the perfect "euro pub'" menu including: fresh, made-to-order salads, sandwiches, meat and cheese platters, flatbread pizzas (using locally sourced ingredients including Polidori sausage) as well as homemade daily soups. Armoury also shows support for local artists by regularly hosting shows and displaying artist's work for purchase. Have a drink, watch a match, listen to music, grab a bite, look at art, invite some old friends and make some new ones.

Awesome place. Good service even though they were slammed. Had an awesome shot where you eat a schezuan flower before hand and then another with a dead scorpion in it. I'd be back a lot if I... Read more
