“veritable feast for the senses”
Welcome to The Squeaky Bean, a veritable feast for the senses. A little backstory: The Squeaky Bean first took root in 2009 in a charming storefront on 33rd and Tejon in Denver’s Highlands neighborhood. In 2012, we transplanted The Bean to the historic Saddlery Building in Lower Downtown. Now with a proper kitchen and a stunning bar and dining room, The Bean is all growed up. Flavor and presentation are always taken seriously, with room for plenty of playful inventiveness in each dish. With an ever-changing menu of seasonal culinary intrigue, each trip to The Squeaky Bean is a new experience. Please stop by and prepare to EXPLORE YOUR INNER BEAN. We look forward to seeing you.
A visit to the Squeaky Bean makes you feel cool again. Furbished with a retro Bingo sign (Sunday is Bingo brunch) and a nine-shooter retro autobar that doubles as a host stand, it's a convivial restaurant that reminds us that eating out should be communal and pleasurable. And chef Theo Adley's food—unassailable fried chicken, a stupendous burger, brussels sprouts glistening with a Thai vinaigrette—all equate to memorable bites that linger long after you've knocked back a potent cocktail or two created on the fly to celebrate the life of a deceased celebrity.
Bingo Brunch on Sundays and Saturdays! Creative, local/organic/whatever food, amazing cocktails.
