Django is a comfortable, brasserie-style restaurant offering everything you love about French cuisine without the attitude. Django features classic French dishes such as Steak Frites and Duck Confit, as well as fresh salads, Corsican pizzas and juicy hamburgers made with fresh-ground beef.
George Formaro, the chef/owner behind Django and other Des Moines restaurants was a semi-finalist for the prestigious James Beard Award.
They feature no-corkage fee EVER. If you’re looking for a tasty happy hour, be sure to hit up Django for that as well. Their happy hours is Mon-Fri from 4-6 pm. Have a drink from their specialty cocktail list, enjoy $1.50 oysters and $1.50 shrimp as well as half-price cheese and charcuterie plates
Django does an all-night happy hour on Tuesdays that should not be missed. They also serve up some delicious and affordable oysters!
