We loved this campground! It was truly the perfect option for our family to find that northern Minnesota experience that we were looking for. The location is great and the property is quaint and inviting...it evokes a sense of country comfort. The full hook-ups functioned properly, the interior roads are easy to navigate and the property is very well maintained so it has easy access for big rigs. Offers both pull-through and back-in sites. The game room is fabulous! It kept my tweens and teen very happy on a couple of rainy days (it includes an air hockey table that we loved among many other games and a huge lounge with a TV if you want to borrow one of their loaner dvd's). I was beyond impressed by the owners and their efforts to keep up the property. The sites are well kept with concrete patios and well-placed trees for shade between the sites. There are two playgrounds for littles, a mini-golf area, horse shoes and our favorite was the little lake with peddle boats. The icing on the cake for me was the value of this place. It truly is family friendly and this campground makes it a pleasure to camp: all of their activities are included in your camping, firewood is a reasonable fee, they have many little grocery items and cold treats in their store for the family at great prices and the ambiance is peaceful. It also sports and incredibly clean laundry room (one of the nicest I've seen in 19 states at a campground)!

Overall this is a great campground. We were visiting family in the area and was very easy to get to all the local areas. All the sites were well spaced and very clean. We didn’t use the cable as sites are satellite friendly.

As we continued our trek up to Northern MN, we stopped here for a couple of nights. This was a well cared for RV park and the staff was quite pleasant. It was near the lake and there is a lot to do in town. It is a festive atmosphere with many good places to eat and drink. Detroit Lakes has a Wal-Mart so getting re-stocked is quite simple.
If you are looking for a family friendly adventure, DO NOT go floating on the Ottertail River :). I took the family down the river in tubes and we saw a lot more than we bargained for.

The first review listed here describes this campground well. The sites are nicely accommodating and we enjoyed a peaceful stay here for four nights. The campground caters to travelers vs seasonal campers, unlike most others in the area. We use all of the major cell providers and connectivity for all (Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile) were all excellent. The Campground Wifi at our site was uncommonly strong and reliable (I did not use for streaming).
What really differentiates this campground is the owners - Karen and Todd are the friendliest hosts we have met in our many stays at campgrounds around the country! They are very attentive to their property and it's guests. You'll feel welcomed throughout your stay.

The CG is VERY WELL MAINTAINED! There is a note on the door about calling if no one is available because they are doing maintenance somewhere and they are not kidding. They are always making sure the CG is maintained. I am not sure there is a bad thing I can say about this CG! We stayed is sight 19 and it was very well maintained. Todd was 6he one that met us at the office and escorted us to our campsite and gave us advice on how to park to get the best use of the space. While we were setting up he had seen some grass clippings under our picnic table so he went to his golf cart, grabbed an electric blower and made sure the clippings were gone. We were informed that the water pressure at the CG was set at about 40-45psi and that we would probably have issues if we used a water pressure regulator because the pressure sometimes is too low to open the regulator to allow water to flow. We have been to many CGs and had never had to not use a WPR on our site. This was very helpful information. This is a great place to camp!
