“Texas style barbecue on the Gulf Coast”
Specializing in Texas style barbecue. Open 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Sunday. We are passionate about the art of great barbecue! We hope people think of Dickey’s Barbecue as a really friendly group of folks who are passionate about serving our guests outstanding barbecue. There are a few long standing traditions that help define Dickey’s Barbecue as the unique brand and business that we are today. We consider these to be our “Top Ten!” 1. Fall-off-the-bone tender ribs: We have a break test to prove it. If the rack doesn’t break in the middle, then it’s not ready and we don’t serve it. 2. Perfectly tender brisket: We have a fork test for this, too. We only consider our brisket done if you can put a fork in it and turn it easily. 3. Smoking meats low-and-slow onsite: We have a hickory-wood pit in every restaurant to smoke our meats low and slow every day. 4. Secret sauce: We serve a signature tomato-based sauce that is a blend of spices and molasses. Our sauce is ALWAYS served hot; it comes in a spicy and a sweet sauce, too. 5. The Big Yellow Cup: The BYC is one of our most recognizable icons. Guests are encouraged to take their BYCs home and use it forever. 6. Kids eat free on Sundays: Every Sunday at every Dickey’s, we offer one free kid’s meal (from the kids’ menus) with the purchase of any adult meal. This is an essential piece to the Dickey’s brand. 7. Free ice cream: This is offered in the dining room as a thank you to our loyal guests. 8. Family packs: We offer conveniently packaged meals that are great for small groups and families. 9. Catering experts: We have one of the best catering menus around. Our guests rely on our expertise in catering for groups of 10 – 1,000+ people. 10. Community involvement: We’re a family company that believes in being good stewards within the communities in which we do business. Whether it is supporting a local school or hosting an event, we encourage all our stores in actively support their community.
I use to be a loyal Dickey's Bar-B-Q customer. No more! And the D'Iberville, MS store can get credit for that. I understand the food business is tough...I use to work in it. But, this particular... Read more
