“an exceptional gastropub experience”
101 Beer Kitchen was proud to announce its grand opening on October 1, 2012, introducing Dublin to an exceptional gastropub experience sure to redefine what food and craft beer lovers expect of their neighborhood eateries. With a focus on fresh, quality ingredients, the restaurant’s bedrock is scratch-made food, a convivial environment and design simplicity. Guests of 101 Beer Kitchen will find such items as Beer Cheese Soup with Pork Croutons and Housemade Soft Pretzels with a warm and velvety Mustard Cheese Dip. Owner and Executive Chef Thad Kittrell will also serve up specialty dishes including Caramelized Onion and Gruyere Grilled Cheese paired with a cup of Butternut Squash Soup for fall. The Kittrells are blessed with three young taste-testers at home which helped them create a kid’s menu full of delicious and healthy selections. Kiddy meals are served on a fun cafeteria tray with “Ice-Your-Own” Sugar Cookies for dessert! Menus will change quarterly along with regularly rotating tap selections. Owner and Chef Thad Kittrell will team up with various brewers to host monthly beer dinners which pair Kittrell’s culinary creations with a smooth pint. The most unique aspect of 101 Beer Kitchen, though, he says are “the people running it. Our staff has a passion for what we are doing and a real desire to serve and share their best experience with guests.” Under the creative direction of Owner Jessica Kittrell, 101 Beer Kitchen was designed to suit the quaint and community-focused charm of Dublin while offering a fresh take on rustic sophistication. The locally designed and manufactured furnishings perfectly house the craft pints and inventive cuisine made from local ingredients. “We want to support our community and plan to use local products whenever possible and promote local brewers as well,” says Jessica. 101 Beer Kitchen is built on a foundation of community and a strong sense of friendship and family. The name “101” actually represents the couple’s wedding anniversary, 10/1, and their brand identity which is a simple, back-to-basics approach to food, beer and the education thereof. Whether you’re looking for a meal, a beer, or a snack and camaraderie, 101 is the perfect spot for residents and visitors alike.
And just like that...it's the 101 Beer Kitchen I know and love! After a really disappointing experience a few months ago, the manager reached out and asked us to try again (top notch move). We... Read more
