“Beer was invented for monks-- so it's good for you!”
Let's start with the owners, I suppose. Rick Lampton (Superior, WI) has been in the Duluth/Superior restaurant business for about 15 years. He's the managing partner for the Grizzly's Wood-Fired Grill locations in Duluth and Superior. (You know, the place with the good chicken?) Under the guidance of fellow Grizzly's alumn, Steve Letnes, the dynamic duo has set out to serve the very best hand-formed burgers cooked to perfection on a grill along with fresh-cut fries and potato chips cooked to order. Did we mention that your burger is ready in about two minutes? This little burger joint will quickly develop a cult-like following, so pay attention. With 40 different American tap beers and an equally impressive collection of craft bottles, you beer lovers (and the occasional "snob") shouldn't have any trouble finding a brew that will suit you. Whether it's a pressure-releasing 5:05 beer after work, or a Sunday Funday playing trivia during the football game - you want it, we've got it. Oh... But there's more! Don't fill up on beer. Not too much, at least - because there's food to be eaten! Our beer-infused burgers are the stuff legends are made out of. Build your own monstrosity or pick from one of our specialty burgers off the menu! And don't worry about what your girlfriend says. Just tell her - beer was invented by monks, red meat is good for you, and potatoes are vegetables. Problem solved.
