Welcome to Alla's Historical Bed and Breakfast which is the oldest original all brick home in the city of Duncanville (South-West Dallas County, 15 min. away from downtown Dallas area) built by the chief Mason in 1927, John C. Pelt. Duncanville is a city in Dallas County, Texas (USA). Duncanville's population was 36,081 at the 2000 census, and estimated at 42,500 in 2008. Duncanville is a suburb of Dallas and is part of the Best Southwest area, which includes Duncanville, Cedar Hill, DeSoto, and Lancaster. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 11.3square miles (29Square kilometers), all of it land. Duncanville is a small quaint city that is a combination of rural life and modern conveniences with the historical charm of the 1920's and 1930's. A visitor can find an array of fine antique and gift shops, spa, large antique mall, grocery stores, and some of the best dining in Dallas County with some restaurants within walking distance of our historical lodging. If you are traveling to Dallas county for pleasure or business, you will find that our Inn offers friendly service, comfort,and privacy. Great owners, great price, great house, everything is clean and perfect. If you like older-style houses, furniture and want to feel like you're living in the 30's come stay here - they'll even cook breakfast for you! I'm never staying at a regular hotel in Dallas if I can help it, I'll be staying here!
