Mally’s 15 years experience in the catering industry is a testament to her passion for food. Friends, family and business associates have all deliciously experienced Mally’s talents in the kitchen. Her experience spans the greatest rivalry (Duke and UNC have both tasted Mally’s cooking) as well as events of all shapes and sizes, from birthday parties to staff meetings and everything in between. Mally has never met a stranger and is well-known in the local farmers market community. Leveraging her individual relationships with our local farmers, Mally will ensure that the freshest, most flavorful ingredients make their way to Pomegranate Kitchen and on to your plate. Mitra’s background with diet therapy and nutrition makes her the perfect second half of Pomegranate Kitchen. As our resident “food police,” Mitra will use her nutrition knowledge to make certain that Pom’s menu items are not only delicious, but healthy as well. Mitra’s love of baking led her to serve as a recipe doctor for a prominent bakery in northern California. Mitra’s vivacious personality keeps customers coming back for more! Both Mitra and Mally are globe trotters and have been exposed to exotic flavors from around the world.   They look forward to sharing their mouth-watering food with you!
