“Get some flower power!”
This 12-acre wooded site adjacent to the former El Dorado High School site features plants native to Arkansas’s West Gulf Coastal Plain and exotic species including flowering camellias and azaleas. Managed by the South Arkansas Community College, the arboretum offers marked paved walking trails, a rental pavilion, rental gazebo, restrooms, and parking. From Ark. 82B in El Dorado, turn north on North Timberlane Drive and go one mile.
I found this little gem of a park and I couldn’t get enough of it! It’s a 12 acre park. The paved foot trail is about 2 miles of beautifully shaded loops around the park.
