Woodlands Camping Resort is a semi-private camping resort with many seasonal contract sites. In addition to this, we have some transient sites, two cabins and also have a number of sites reserved for temporary workers. Woodlands is located about 3 miles outside of Elkton, MD on the Elk Neck Peninsula. We are totally surrounded by Elk Neck State Forest. You are just a short drive from many Chesapeake Bay attractions.

75% of this “Resort” is full time and/or seasonal cabins, chalets, rv’s.
Bath house and flush toilets are immaculate but 1/2 mile from our overnight rv spot.
Bring levelers and chalks, sites are mounded and sloped, 30amp and water on most, dump station if you need it.
We stayed here because it is 20min from our favorite Crab Shack “The Tap House”.
Would not say this was kid, or pet friendly, there is a full page of Do’s and Dont’s.
Small boggy pond at the end on the row of rv’s, a creepy pet cemetery and if you take the Holly Trail through the woods from the bath house a cemetery which is still being used! $45 is low compared to other locations so the “value” is average.
