“there's only one”
Rooster Brother, the store for cooks, is located on the banks of the Union River in Ellsworth, Maine close to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Housed in a magnificent Victorian building, it consists of one floor of specialty cookware, linens and beautiful things for the home, and another floor of specialty food, wine, cheese and our coffee roasting operation. Please stop by and visit us if you're in the area. The downstairs part of the store opens at 7:30 AM, Monday through Friday. The full store is open from 9:30 to 5:30, Monday through Saturday. THE SECOND STORY, our summertime emporium of "Good Stuff for Less!" is open for the season Monday thru Saturday from 10AM-5PM . The aroma of just-roasted coffee and fresh bread will enchant you, as will the bald eagles who regularly fly over our parking lot. Have a free sample cup of our coffee and browse in a relaxed, friendly place. The name of our store is taken from a charming children's book written by Nonny Hogrogian. It's a retelling of an old Armenian folk tale about a very clever little boy who loves his mother very much.

Good coffee, lots of other choices. They also have a culinary store. The parking lot is right off of a stream and the coffee shop is on ME 1 so that worked out. Read more
