Cherry Island Golf Course

Cherry Island Golf Course is a public 18-hole championship course designed by famed golf course architect, Robert Muir Graves. During his fifty-year career in golf architecture, Mr. Graves designed, remodeled, and consulted on over 800 golf course projects throughout the United States and abroad. He has earned international recognition for his ability to use and enhance existing landscapes in his golf course designs. Cherry Island is a sustainably managed course, following Audubon's Cooperative Sanctuary Program. To achieve this certification, all departments including the Golf Course Maintenance, Golf Shop Operations, Restaurant and Outside Services must take part in the program. Our commitment to continuous improvement to environmental performance is achieved through stewardship education, employee involvement, and best management practices.
