The Visitor Center offers a fascinating learning experience for the entire family with full-size wildlife displays, videos, maps, books and a staff of knowledgeable Park representatives. Informed answers, as well as tips on how to best enjoy your Rocky Mountain adventure are available. The Trailhead Restaurant located at the Rocky Mountain Gateway is classic Americana mixed with fresh mountain fillings! Casual and family friendly, the Trailhead Restaurant offers a fresh menu whether you're in the mood for elk stew (a favorite!), delicious cornbread for breakfast, or a great lunch stop before heading into the Rocky Mountain National Park. The Rocky Mountain Gateway Gift Shop is located in the same building as the Trailhead Restaurant. The gift shop includes furniture for your mountain cabin, souvenir gifts, clothing, authentic Native American jewelry and pottery, outdoor gear, and even kids can find something in our gift shop! Be a cowboy for an hour or a day!Live your childhood dreams with us! Enjoy miles of scenic, secluded mountain trails through Rocky Mountain National Park or Roosevelt National Forest. Each selected to offer you a true mountain experience.
