Lake of Glass

Climb Timberline Falls  to reach the Lake of Glass. 4.2 miles from the Glacier Gorge Trailhead, the trail to the Lake of Glass is uphill and fairly easy until reaching Timberline Falls, which has to be scrambled up! At this point, bear in mind that you will have to go down whatever you go up, so use discretion! Some people do turn back at this point and the view is still spectacular. The Lake of Glass itself is beautiful and clear, with Taylor Peak and Taylor Glacier towering overhead.
