When we opened in 2007, we wanted to bring a restaurant to Eugene with great local flavor and an atmosphere not of 'see and be seen' but of 'come as you are.' Eating out is about way more than food to us; it's about enjoying the experience of a great meal for an affordable price in a place where you feel at home. And, if you get to eat homemade mac-n-cheese that's better than mom made (sorry mom), all the better! We like to mix things up with seasonal specialties but it's our house favorites that keep our customers coming back. Whether you like the fresh catch of the day or our renowned slow-roasted ribs and fresh cut fries, there is something for every taste here at The Davis. The inspiration behind our menu comes from classic dishes, but we make them with a new twist. We want everyone to experience the food like we're only cooking for you. Your dining experience wouldn't be complete without fresh Pacific Northwest ingredients. We use Locally Raised All-Natural Pork and Beef, Wild Salmon from the Deschutes River and a plethora of Organic farms that call the Willamette Valley home. We'd like to think that our food was enough to keep you coming back, but we have a hunch that our drinks might be part of it. That might have something to do with our creative bartenders. If you don't know what you want, go to any one of them and they will make you happy. Chris, Annie (winner of Bartender War in Eugene!) , Rio ( who finished 2nd in the Bartender War!), Jodi, Rebecca, and Tinaia have a knack for pairing wine, beer, and even scotch to any meal of your choosing.
