“middle america!”
This is private property, so everyone be cool, ok? No trespassing! It’s not as grand as the “Home Alone” house, nor as charming as Mary Richard’s apartment in “The Mary Tyler Moore Show,” and it appeared a generation after Archie Bunker’s television debut as American provocateur on race and class issues in “All In The Family,” which featured exterior shots of a real Queens, NY house. But there’s something very middle America and reassuring about the house where “Roseanne” made a home. While “Roseanne” was filmed on a studio lot in California, it’s always been a nice bit of authenticity that a sitcom that put the everyday lives of working-class Americans on center stage used an actual house for its “role model.”
Stopped by to take a quick selfie! It is a private residence so we didn’t go up to house. But loved to see it since I’ve watched all the episodes.
Was fun to see but it's not what you would think. It's a private residence and you can only really take a picture from the car. But a fun thing to drive by and see.
