“the best quality food in Western Maine”
“Since 1982, the Homestead has been serving some of the best food in Western Maine. We offer a unique and extensive menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We emphasize freshness in our food, so we buy local when possible and maintain a vegetable and herb garden on the roof of the restaurant. We also keep a very respectable selection of beer, wine, and liquor. Our great tap selections are always rotating, we offer over thirty wines from five continents, and our personable and experienced bartenders are always happy to make any drink you'd like. The Homestead has also long been known for the delectable treats created in bakery. Fresh, wholesome breads are made daily along with a variety of muffins, danish pastries, pies, cakes, and scrumptious desserts. Stop in to pick up a treat on your way home or call ahead to have us create a special order.”

Delicious food in a friendly, comfortable setting. Loved the Africa peanut soup and the salmon bowl - both exceptional. This is our favorite restaurant in the area - worth a stop! Read more
