D the Half Shell

The Half Shell is locally owned and operated by Natalie and Blaine Pitchford of Newnan, GA.  They have three children (Baylin, Kathryn and Gage).  The idea of an Oyster Bar and Hot Dog Shop came from Natalie and Blaine growing up around Dothan, Alabama (Known as the Wiregrass).  The combination of an Oyster Bar and Hot Dog style restaurant is common in Wiregrass.  Mid-west Georgia has great restaurants of many ethnicities (Mexican, Chinese, Japanese,etc.) and good food from different regions of the U.S. ( New York, Philadelphia, Texas, etc.).  We opened the Half Shell to provide the people in this area, a taste of “L.A” (Lower Alabama).
