An endless variety of topography and ecosystems form the area called Seven Lakes. Its land was a combination of farmland, rolling hills and forests. About 230 acres of water with several miles of shoreline await the park user. The dam, formed one large lake from seven small lakes. Metal detecting area.

We stayed here in late September, 2018. Our original reserved site was 28 but our power cable would not reach to the electric box, which is shared by 4 sites. We were able to switch to site 19, which was on the beach of the small lake/pond (back view, not front) and next to the bathrooms. Our site was fairly level with a picnic table and firepit. We had electric only. There are some trails that we walked that were nice. The staff was super friendly.

We stayed here while visiting friends who lived in the area. It's a nice campground with paved, level sites with 50/30/20 hook-ups available. Nice bath house which is easily accessible and a dedicated campground beach on the south side of the campground, within seconds of each site. Prepare for very little shade, which can be rough in the summer. There is a self check-in booth at the front entrance of the park which confused us, as it was for the day use portion of the park. Keep driving in and you will see signs for the campground. Sites can accommodate units of all sizes.

Great campground. Not enough trees. High grass on lakefront sites blocking view of lake as shown in Michigan state parks site.

Open, with planted, young trees, vso you can move chairs around to find shade. Nice beach on small lake that looks like a former gravel pit. Pretty setting. Nice bathhouse/bathroom building. Several ADA-compliant sites. Lots of trails to investigate, and several lakes, too.
