Taytro's Bar & Bistro is a New Orleans style restaurant located in Festus, Missouri. This family owned and operated business is the owner, Steve's way of bringing his taste of Louisiana back home for all to enjoy. His time spent in the South living, cooking and learning from the locals was not to be forgotten. Steve loved his time and friends in Louisiana and wanted to bring his passion for cooking and love for Louisiana spice back to the place he called home.

We go to New Orleans almost every year and this year will be no different however when we want to get a taste of good New Orleans' style cooking at home we head to Taytro's. We've eaten there many times since they opened and have never been disappointed. Their BBQ Shrimp appetizer is great if you like Cajun style BBQ. We've never had a dish we didn't like and you won't be disappointed either. Enjoy!!

Great place to stop in and eat. Our server was incredibly friendly. I ordered the Classic Sampler (gumbo, jambalaya, and red beans & rice). All three were very good. My wife ordered the catfish po' boy. Not only did it taste great, but the catfish filet that came on the sandwich was HUGE!! Their homemade chips were also very good. We happened to stop in for lunch on our way through and made a nice find. There is also a really cool fresh produce market that is right across the street.
