Beautiful caverns ! They have different trails to choose from and it's easy for young kids.

The Caverns were closed when we visited on 4/21/22. Loved the hiking on the N Sylamore Creek trail, the Sylamore Creek rocky beach, Mirror Lake and CCC dam, old stone Mitchell Mill, and Blanchard Spring. Well worth the visit....even with the closed Caverns!

This was more amazing than I could have imagined! Totally worth the money and the time. We will probably go back to do the wild cave tour which is way more like caving and it sounds both fascinating and messy.

Blanchard Springs Caverns were absolutely stunning. We took the Discovery Trail that takes you 1.2 miles through the caverns. We have previously been to Tucklaleechee Caverns in Tennessee and Florida Caverns State Park and Blanchard was definitely the most beautiful of the three. If you take the Discovery Trail that it has strenuous parts of the trail including 700 steps up and down during the tour. The most strenuous leg of the trail is called heart attack hill. You can hear the group huffing and puffing after getting up the stairs. The surrounding area is beautiful as well. There are great opportunities for photography and fishing at the spring, Mirror Lake dam, and waterfall. The trail to the bottom of the dam has a beautiful view and continues right up to the base of the dam and waterfall. This is a must see if you are in the area.

My friend and I are on a road trip and haven't been able to do very many nature adventures in light of the winter. We were passing through Arkansas and I got the idea of viewing the caves from this app so we decided to stop. I don't know if others had a difficult time finding the place but I wouldn't recommend using Waze for directions. All you need to know is from the 14 take a right or left (depending on which direction you are coming from) onto Country Road 54. You will follow a paved road for about a minute and see a big parking lot with the Caves center. Adults cost $10 for a ticket, and I believe $5.50 for kids under 10. I wanted to do the Discovery tour but was informed that tour isn't available until Memorial Day weekend. We got there in time for the last tour at 4pm, I think there are only about 3 tours a day. Our guide, Dalton was very nice and gave some great insights and history facts about the cave. The caves themselves were breathtaking, and we were allowed to take flash photography so I was excited about that. The Drip Tour was only hour long and a mile's walk. I highly recommend visiting this cave if you are passing through! Not only was it nice to get out of the cold 27 degree weather and into the warm 58 degree caves but they were a miraculous underground world to visit!
