“"you've tried the rest, now try the best!"”
Hickory Stick BBQ opened in 1976 by current owner Mark Jones and his father Johnnie Andrew Jones. It has been a family owned and operated establishment ever since. Johnnie Andrew Jones with the help of his son Mark, built the business from the ground up. Since then, the business has grown under the ownership of Mark Jones and with the help of his family. The business has grown from the one room area from which it started to the four room resturaunt it is now. Johnnie came up with his own secret sauce, which is still used today and is still a secret. The restaurant is known for its succulent ribs and hickory smoked brisket. Owner Mark Jones slow cooks his meats for over 18 hours to create the ultimate hickory taste. The owner's mother Mary makes pies and cobblers that are enough to satisfy any sweet tooth. The restuarnt serves beer, wine and margaritas in its bar. Our success is due to our loyal customers who spread the word, letting others know about their experience and satisfaction. We appreciate each and every one of our customers that has been a part of our success.
