“superior theatrical programs for regional participation”
The mission of the Fredericksburg Theater Company (FTC) is “to provide superior theatrical programs for regional participation which entertain, educate, enrich and inspire.” Formed in 1997 by Jeryl Hoover, we have grown to an audience of over 8,000 annually. All performances are held at the newly dedicated Steve W. Shepherd Theater. The theater is intimate and comfortable with 250 individual leather seats and excellent stage views from every seat. To learn more, visit Seating Chart. The Scene Shop building, made possible by a donation from Ed and Trudy Brune, was added to the FTC complex in the summer of 2009. The FTC is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Your donations are tax deductible and are typically accepted by company gift match programs and community service hours.
