Heart Lake is 13 acres in size and 23 feet deep at an elevation of 4,900 feet. This lake is for the hardy hiker. From Bly: Travel 13 miles east on Highway 140, and turn right on Forest Road 3715. Take Forest Road 3715 (paved but narrow) for 7 miles, then turn right on Forest Road 012. Continue on Forest Road 012 for 1 mile and you should see the picnic area entrance.
Very pretty lake, great for a picnic or fishing. Outhouse, picnic table, small boat ramp, small fihing dock that is falling apart. There's at least trout and catfish in the water. Bit of a drive from the main road, but the directions on here were accurate!
