Springbrook Nature Center

Springbrook Nature Center is a uniquely diverse natural area of native habitats and wildlife. It has 127 acres of native prairies, oak and aspen forests, oak savannah, and extensive wetlands. Springbrook is a popular City of Fridley park, and is a destination for people from the greater Minneapolis St. Paul regional metropolitan area.  Its three miles of hiking trails, floating boardwalks, and interpretive center live animal exhibits are an attraction for families, children and friends.    In a typical year, Springbrook hosts 200,000 visitations and provides more than 700 program opportunities. In Springbrook's exhibit room, you get a close-up look at live snakes, frogs, fish and more - all native to Minnesota. In addition, the Nature Center has many enjoyable educational programs for your children, family, community group or school.   Springbrook offers year around opportunities to bring you closer to nature. The hiking trails provide an excellent opportunity for viewing native plants and animals.
