We chose a pull thru campsite with electric and water (no sewer hookup) plus received a senior discount of $2.00 for the nightly rate. It also had a grill and picnic table. We were scheduled to spend three nights at this park, but left after two nights. We had experienced a full day of nonstop wind on the 2nd day and we were just not up to another day/night of wind. I would choose this park again. Since we made the reservation online we did not checkin with a clerk or camp host. We tried going to the Park office, but the door was locked. Also, there are public restrooms in the camping area. It looks like you have to pay for the showers, but unsure of the price since no sign posted. Very hard to navigate within the camping area since there are no signs at end of row showing which sites are on that row. At some of the campsites there were extra vehicles parked alongside the road which made it difficult to pass by.
Sunset Cove campground is next to the golf course which makes it very handy. The course offers a senior discount. The course was in great shape!

It was easily accessed and the facilities were fine and pretty clean, though we didn’t use them. It was very hot the two days we stayed there, but locals said it was not normal for that time of year. The site was a bit overgrown and there was lots of trash in the fire pit and around the campground, despite numerous dumpsters positioned around grounds. We looked at unoccupied sites and found trash thrown in many of them as well. It did have a lovely sunset and sunrise and could be so much more, but the best we can give us three stars as an okay stop.
