Cocina de Dominguez is owned by Brian Dominguez. Brian was born and raised in Gallup. His parents were his inspiration for starting his own restaurant business. They being self-employed business persons; Brian's Father-Bernie Dominguez of Dominguez Construction and Brian's Mother-Lila was in the Childcare business for over 25 years. She now helps Brian manage the Gallup location. Brian is a Gallup High School graduate and was a wide receiver for the last State Championship Gallup Bengal Football team. Brian sold cars for Corley Doge for over 10 years as well. He was also influenced by the unique style of New Mexican cuisine growing up here. He opened the Window Rock location first in 2006. Then when the Pal Joey's bar and restaurant closed, Brian decided to open his 2nd location there in 2007 keeping the once popular spot going with this great eating spot here in Gallup!
