Microclimate Wine Bar

At this wine bar, we put Finger Lakes wines in the World-class and let you see for yourself what wine is all about. How do we do this? Well, we start by taking one varietal from FLX and throwing it into the ring with four similar wines from other points on the globe. We have flights representing grapes many of you know quite well, (Pinots, cabs, Riesling, Chard...) and just a few you may have yet to wrap your tongue around (Rkatsitelli, Grüner Veltliner, Torrontés....). We also have a healthy dose of bottled beers - ipas, hefes, stouts, porters, Belgians, even ginger beer... - fruit Lambics, and crisp hard cider. Fermentation not your gig? How about Red Jacket Juice, fresh from the local press. As for something to nibble on....we take a piece of butcher block and dress it with local cheese, charcuterie, Marcona almonds, olives, even oils for dipping Normal Bread. Yes indeed. But we didn't just make this stuff up overnight. Microclimate has been in the works for over 2 years. It took a village for 38 Linden to evolve into the space it is today: a place where we don't make excuses if a piece of wall crumbles into your Château Lafite. So if you don't notice that, we hope you at least take a moment to poke around our fair city of Geneva. Taste at our delectable restaurants, peruse our many boutique shops, catch a show at the world-class Smith Opera House, and take a stroll along the beautiful grassy lakefront. If you didn't know it already, it wont take you long to realize that Geneva, New York is where it is at.
