Welcome to Maritime Gloucester. Our goal is to connect you to the working waterfront of America’s oldest seaport. We have something for everyone. So, come and spend time at this extraordinary site on the harbor. Your “oceans of discovery” moment may be a schooner that stops in for some down time in Gloucester, a conversation with fishermen at Geno’s Dory Shop, or the observation of a unique marine specimen in the aquarium brought in by a visiting scientist or lobsterman. Come and enjoy. A multi-building attraction on Gloucester's working waterfront where visitors can explore our permanent exhibits-Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary, Fitting Out in the Gorton's Seafoods Gallery, and the Sea Pocket Lab touch tank aquarium. The Maritime Gloucester Gift Shop is stocked with nautical and marine themed items and books with a focus on local artists and writers. Take a peek inside our boat shop, visit the Dive Locker and stop into the Dory Shop. Walk along the largest point of public access on Gloucester's working harbor.
