El Tovar Hotel

Open year round. A national historic landmark, this full service hotel opened in 1905 and was renovated most recently in 2005. El Tovar is the finest accommodations available on the South Rim, offering a dining room, cable television, full-bath, and room service (limited hours). There are 78 rooms and suites which must be reserved ''well'' in advance. All rooms are non-smoking, and many offer a canyon view.
