“step foot back in time”
What sets us apart from the chain restaurant is apparent the minute you enter Main Street Cafe and step foot back in time. Enter the Fabulous 50's and sit back and let our staff serve you. Our family of employees truly enjoy what they do everyday. Our fast and friendly service accompanied with incredible home cooked food has afforded us 18 fun years of serving you, our valuable customer. We are proud to serve only the finest products including Sterling Silver fresh ground chuck. We hand pack every delicious charbroiled burger. Boar's Head brand deli meats are by far the best meats on the market, and the all beef hot dogs are to die for. Our Blue Plate Specials like, Meatloaf and Chicken Fried Steak with homemade mashed potatoes and gravy are just like home. Homemade soups, fresh salads, and an excellent vegetarian section round out our complete menu. Don't leave with out a milkshake with hand packed ice cream, Hot Fudge Sunday, or an old fashion Ice Cream Soda from our soda fountain. We know you will enjoy your experience.
A really wonderful little spot. The old counter helps give the place the age it needs to not feel too cheesy like some 50s wannabe diners do. Friendly staff and good food. Would recommend eating here anytime you're in Grand Junction.
Eat here, trust me. This place alone makes me want to move to Grand Junction
