“"The Original Cajun Steakhouse"”
"The Original Cajun Steakhouse" specializes in awesome appetizers, we call them "Dimanche Gras" enjoy Salmon Tarts (grilled pita chips topped with cream cheese, smoked salmon, tomatoes, onions & capers), and Bacchus's Booty (a combination of multiple types of sausage & boudoin grilled and served with our famous mustard combination)...just to name a few! Then of course, "Lundi Gras" - our soups & salads, "Fat Tuesday" - scrumptious sandwiches, and the biggest - "Mardi Gras" exceptional entrées, steaks, chicken, pasta, and pork, veal & lamb chops! In addition, don't forget "Lagniappe" - our sides, and "Mercredi Gras" meaning the day after Mardi Gras - DESSERT! Not only GREAT food, but also the atmosphere - housed in a historic downtown building - (circa 1903) - you will feel the "party" immediately! Offering a Mardi Gras theme with Bacchus Memorabilia and floats hanging from everywhere! In the time of the Romans, Bacchus, the god of wine and inspired madness, represented not only the intoxicating power of wine, but also its social and beneficial influences. In modern times, the word has evolved into a synonym for fun. Today it is the symbol of Mardi Gras, the biggest party in America! We know YOU will enjoy our restaurant, a place where you can come and experience the power of Bacchus and more importantly have FUN & GREAT FOOD! No longer will you have to wait once a year to enjoy the "biggest" party!
