Simple little campground with several long term folks that stay year round. Super friendly and welcoming ....The sites are spaced far enough apart, very level and the check in was very simple and pleasant. Would definitely stay again. Very affordable especially for weekly and monthly rates. Close enough to stores and restaurants without the headache of traffic and going all the way into Longview. Had cable(not many channels) great WiFi and cell signal though.(we have Verizon) Bathrooms could use a good scrubbing and didn’t use laundry room so can’t comment but I’m fairly certain the facilities are there...🧐

Called ahead and was given instructions to the pull through area. Settled up in the morning. Pull through spots are pretty level, long, and FHU. Lots of long term units and a few kids but it was quiet and safe feeling. Standard Rv park at a decent price.

We wanted some place cheap and just off I-20. Well, we got it. We were able to get the 1 remaining site. Everyone is packed in so closely it looks like an RV storage lot. Our site did not have a picnic table, but there was no room for it anyway. Our sewer hose connected directly under the picnic table of neighbors behind us. The sewer hose of the neighbors on the other side was 3 feet from our door & you could smell a raw sewer smell. 90% of the units looked like long term residents, which is OK, but all their belongings piled up outside just looked shabby. The "campground" was full, but we saw almost NO people out, which was kinda creepy. The showers & "game room" were locked and their entry porch was covered with bird droppings. There is a nice large grassy area for dog walks but it is unfenced. Large active ant hills are scattered throughout so be careful. It is clear Round-up or a similar herbicide has been used abundantly. But we were out & on our way early the next morning.

Not at all what we expected! This was just for a quick overnight stop, so in the end it was fine for what we needed. But if we would have wanted to stay longer this would not be the place for us. We do not need a fancy resort and thought this might not be the best choice for an overnight. The pictures provided and their list of rules leads you to believe this is a luxury resort with high expectations. We were fine but if your rig is over 10 years old, they want pictures sent ahead of check-in of all four sides of your camping unit and they will decide if you are allowed to make a reservation. You can imagine our surprise when we pulled in and there was stuff laying everywhere. Every one of the campers looked to be long-term, and the sites and campers were in disrepair. There were broken down cars in sites, campers and cars had tarps over them masking the projects not finished and holes. The sites are disorganized so there are campers in different directions and not in lines. Many of the campers had shattered air conditioners, awnings torn and hanging, broken windows, and stuff seemed to be sitting wherever it was dropped. It appeared some of the people were there working so their construction trucks were outside their campers but were a bit big to fit so maneuvering around with them sticking out could be a challenge. Perhaps none of this would have been an issue if they did not act like they were a different type of resort.
BE AWARE – we had to remove two large pieces of metal that were thrown in the spot we were given. The red ants were awful.
ALL THAT SAID - The people were very nice. We never felt like there could be trouble or we were not safe. The overnight spots were off to the side, full hook-up, pull-through, and level with gravel. It was in a great location easy to stop in and leave in the morning.
With our Passport America membership, we paid $13 for the night.
