“Great authentic Mexican restaurant”
Great authentic Mexican restaurant. Unlike so many restaurants with Mexican names, this one is the real deal. The food is so tasty and there is a substantial variety of truly Mexican dishes.
Last 2 visits were terrible. I will never go again. They up-sell you like a used car salesman. It's obvious and pathetic. We learned this the hard way. The next visit we were ready and made it clear we didn't want cheese and sauce. When the burritos came, they were very small and expenisve. They actually had a "baby" burrito on the menu too. Good thing we didn't order that. When I mentioned it to the wait staff, (whom seemed to have an attitude for the beginning when we only ordered water to drink) she had some lame answer about how other restaurants wrap their burritos or something. I had no idea wtf she was talking about. Then she concluded that "that's the way we do it here". No apologies or consolation. There is a Mexican restaurant on every corner nowadays. We will most certainly go elsewhere. And tell everyone why. FYI, the food was average at best, the salsa was like Campbells tomato soup.
