“hand feed these ancient creatures”

Come explore your guided adventure with a walk through the Swamp People Trail, as you first learn about the production facilities of our 47,000 turtles of all kinds. Continue your adventure as you see over 300 alligators in their natural habitat relaxing, sunbathing, or even nesting. What's most exciting about Kliebert's is our 55 year old gators that were hatched in 1957 by Harvey Kliebert. Along this tour you will view our feeding crew as they walk right up to the gators and hand feed these old beasts. Ranging from 9 to 18 feet, you best believe you will have your fill of the swamp!  Among many of our other  animals, you will be impressed by our  Nile Croc ( Kamau) and our 17 foot Python  (Yetta). Remember this is a farm and not a zoo. It was great to see all the ponds with different ages of turtles and alligators. Our guide was amazing. Informative and dedicated.

Fun time and close to highway. Plan for about 2hours for a unique experience. Our tour guide Russell was amazing and made it fun for our kids. Worth the stop.

Amazing experience! I got to hold a 3' alligator and stand inside the enclosure next to a 12-footer. Lots of interesting information about gators, turtles and the other animals and reptiles they have on display. A bit off the beaten path, but well worth the effort if you're headed past Hammond.

A lot of fun! Guide was very informative on the reptiles and other fauna of the area (helpful for us tourists). It was great to get to pet the turtles and pythons, and get up close to the gators. Very worth it for anyone who just wants to get close to these critters. They also have a beautiful Macaw and some goats full of character onsite. Very friendly staff. A good day out.
