“rest with mother nature”
Welcome to Killens Pond State Park Campground. The wooded campground is a popular attraction at Killens Pond. This year-round facility boasts 59 sites which feature electric and water hookups, accommodating both tents and recreational vehicles. In addition, there is a primitive camping loop for tents only that features 17 walk-in sites. These family cabins sleep four and feature an efficiency kitchen with an eating area, bedroom, bath with shower, A/C, and heat. A picnic table, grill and porch are located outside. The roomier, deluxe Pond View Cottage has extra amenities and an outstanding view of the Pond! The cabins are available year round with a maximum stay of two consecutive weeks. During the summer season, from the Friday of Memorial Day weekend to the Friday of Labor Day weekend, cabins must be rented for a one week period beginning on Friday. All other times of the year cabins may be rented for any number of nights up to 14 days. All reservations for a Friday must also include a Saturday.Reservations are accepted up to seven (7) months prior to the date of arrival.
Our favorite close to home place to camp. Beautiful large pond with walking trails around it. Decent bathhouses. Level, sandy loam sites. Fairly close to Delaware beaches without the crowding.
