Confirmed by 2 users | Last reported on July 20, 2023Unfortunately Denali RV parks were full so we tried here. The staff were very friendly however, the RV park was baron of all tree's or shrubs, only gravel. WiFi and cable did not work but worst of all was that the adjacent shops and eateries were open 24 hours and the late shift found it necessary to spend their cigerette breaks outside enjoying very loud discussion and colorful language, keeping most rigs in the area awake throughout the night. We were warned about this by other campers when we arrived, meaning it was an ongoing problem, and that the park was trying to rectify it but we decided to leave after the first night.

This establishment should only be considered as a last resort. While the receptionist was pleasant everything else was substandard. Uneven, pot holed parking area with rvs crammed as close as possible. Laundry machines old and barely functioning despite high price. Showers basic at best. Wifi did not work.

We reserved online and couldn’t see previous reviews or we wouldn’t have stayed as long. Advertises cable and internet. Neither worked. Looking at previous reviews, cable hasn’t worked since 2016. Some staff were friendly, some were accusatory (cable issues, our fault). Uneven gravel parking. We were backed up to the businesses, which made it noisy.

I realize that it's not a destination resort but when you are told to park your tow vehicle at the gas station down the street and your rig is only 37 ft long that's a problem. when you are told to limit your water consumption yet an employee power washes his truck and quad for 20 minutes, that's a problem. they have junk equipment parked all around. Like I said, this was out worst stop and we stayed at Tags... Other points, none positive;
Rude staff
Constant foot traffic from the condos
Very early morning foot traffic and noise from the raft trips

First of all the park is very limited on space if you have an extra vehicle. Absolutely nowhere to park. The morning we left, we went to dump and the dump station was overflowing. Gross!! And the girl in the office just shrugged. Those with sewer at their hookups were dumping and just making the dump station fountain over. Very Crappy! Do not stay here if you can find somewhere else. It was handy to catch a shuttle to Denali but that’s the only thing it has going for it.

Denali Rainbow RV Park
We stayed for 3 nights in this RV Park in a 36 ft RV at 50 amp site.
The park is nestled in a charmingly quaint city just outside the national park, boasting a modest selection of around 40 stores. Interestingly enough, our RV was parked mere ~5 feet away from 2 of these establishments.
Being close to the kitchen and dishwashing stations of nearby restaurants and stores was an unexpected perk of choosing this park in addition to views of restaurant employees doing dishes or packing garbage. It led to some rather entertaining encounters with friendly store employees who didn't hesitate to strike up a conversation. Fortunately, we didn't have to worry about any thefts or unpleasant incidents during our stay.
The park employees, however, displayed a mix of attitudes. One of the initial ladies we encountered was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. When we made a mistake with our reservations, the staff readily helped us rectify the situation. On the other hand, we encountered a rather grumpy employee who wasn't willing to grant us an extra hour on the day of the departure even though the park was ¾ empty so that i could finish a work call.
The whole park is very small and each site is pretty cramped, so maneuvering around is a pain and there is barely any water pressure. While there is paid WiFi, don’t expect it to work efficiently.
The bathrooms in this facility leave much to be desired, with poor ventilation and maintenance. However, for those who find themselves in dire need of a shower, there's a solution at hand—simply purchase shower tokens( $5 per token, longer showers need 2-3 tokens). The campground offers two shower stations, along with one toilet and one urinal. The good news is that using the toilet doesn't come with any charges! :-)
As for the wash station, it's quite small and using it might require a neck as flexible as that of an owl!
In terms of location and how the park is designed and located, this definitely is America’s worst in my limited experience of traveling between Key West and Alaska.
On hindsight, we should have extended our stay at Teklanika campground inside Denali or completely canceled and moved to Denali Grizzly Bear resort.
