Confirmed by 6 users | Last reported on August 01, 2022It looks like you are arriving at Wally World when you pull up , but don't let that keep you away from this nice lakeside park. Boat rentals, jet skis, kayaks, water slides and more will keep the whole family happy. Gorgeous setting very close to Nashville.
Great resort style camping! Fabulous for kids! Very clean and well run. Wi-Fi at general store/office area, not at site. Cable television, level cement pads with full hook ups. Great views! Restaurant at marina is great BbQ with a jazz jam in the evening. 15 minutes to downtown Nashville, don't miss the Parthenon!

A RV park in an amusement park. Water slides, zip lines, etc all within a few feet walk.
We arrived before the amusement park season was open, so the crowds were far less then if it were. Some may have kids and seriously enjoy staying here, while others who want more quiet may not. Otherwise, a nice stay in a nice park.

Stayed here 5 nights during spring break. Sites are close together but about what you would expect did not terrible. Good home base for seeing the sites around Nashville. Bathrooms were clean with shower sink and toilet all in one locked room which was nice. Water park was not open yet but looked like fun. The treetop adventure park was open however and a total blast even for this 40 year old.

We stayed at Nashville Shores for 2 nights April 11-13, 2018 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Since this is within a resort that has water slides, ziplines, boating activities we could see that during the "peak season" it would be very busy and you would need to get a reservation well in advance. Since it was early and the park had not open for all the fun things to do, we didn't have any issues getting a reservation just a couple a days ahead of time.
We stayed in a pull through with easy access and the water/lake was less than 30-40 yards away from us. It was beautiful. The check in was easy and the staff very friendly. While we did see Class A's (we have a 28' TT), the lanes seemed to be very narrow and the turning radius of the street hard to maneuver. We were glad we could pull through all the way to the street in order to pull out.
This is a beautiful stop and well worth it outside of Nashville to come through. We saw the Nashville KOA campground on our way to downtown and so glad that we did not stay there. It was jam packed with so little space between you and your neighbor. I can see the convenience of where its located but we didn't have to drive very far to get to everything we wanted to see while in Nashville. It was peaceful and quiet while at Nashville Shores and I would definitely go back.

Had a spot right on the lake with beautiful views of Percy Priest and tons of ducks! The sites were clean, level, and moderately spaced. Very quiet campground, but definitely wouldn't be so quiet if waterpark was open. Downside is because you're close to water, the flying insects were a nuisance bad during our stay. AT&T cell service was spotty, which is odd considering how close we were to Nashville. A bit pricey, but expected in such a large metro. Checkout is at 10am, but staff allowed us 11am checkout with no issues.

We loved our stay at this resort. We stayed during the week. We loved the laid back feel, the gorgeous views, they level concrete pads and the bathhouse. The bathhouse has mini suites with shower, sink and commode with real doors. They were clean and warm and it was cold while we were there. My husband fished and was happy. I had walking areas so I was happy and our beagles could stretch in the fenced dog park. We loved this place! The staff called me half hour before our arrival because they were supposed to close at 3. She waited and checked us in at 3:40. Very nice! We were originally given site 9 with a beautiful view but it had a street light and I asked to be moved. We were moved and then realized later that night that the light was off. Oh well they were very helpful and we still had a great view.

When we first booked Nashville Shores we were staying at the other campground on the lake, Safe Harbor. People warned us that it’s “trashy” and we didn’t listen. I wanted to like it you guys I really did. But this is the first campground that I will NEVER go back to. The waterpark is fun, but overpriced and not included with your stay. There is no pool on site so you’re only option is waterpark. The lake is right there but they have a jet ski rental there so no swimming signs are posted. So really, there is nothing to do here. Also, the sites are TINY. so tiny that most people are spilling into their neighbors sites. And the biggest complaint is that it was just dirty. So dirty that nasty feels appropriate. Trash all over our site when we arrived, broken picknik tables, and the bathhouses. So so so NASTY. On a holiday weekend, I give a little grace. But when you advertise that you’re cleaning efforts are increased because of COVID, I’m appalled to see what it normally looks like. Spare yourself, stay at Safe Harbor.

When we first arrived we were on an interior site which was level but close to our neighbors. Luckily by the next day a lakefront site (also very level) opened up for the rest of our stay and we were very glad we moved to enjoy the peacefulness of the lake in the mornings and evenings. We did not use any of the resort amenities - water park, water sport rentals, etc. - but we were able to use our own paddle board from the launch ramp at the end of the cove. We work all day and were in a site close to the water park and were not bothered by noise at all (however, this was during COVID summer so park attendance was significantly lower than normal). Since our site was the last in the row it was angled in the opposite direction of all others which gave us more space between our one neighbor. The utility hookups for this site are on the "wrong" side for some reason but our cords & hoses reached so this wasn't an issue for us. We didn't use the bathrooms much because they weren't very well cleaned or maintained; not sure if the resort was short-staffed due to COVID or if this is the normal state. The General Store staff was very friendly and helpful. This was not the cleanest place we've ever stayed and was pricey for the lakefront site, but it suited our needs for a week in Nashville and gave us good close proximity to the places in town we wanted to visit.

We only had a day a day and a half to enjoy the water park and the zip line. When we checked in the attendant advised us it was better to purchase a season pass even though we weren’t coming back as it would save us some money as it would give us both access to both activities. Well much to our surprise on Sunday we attempted to do the zip line and was informed it cost extra. Of course the attendant that sold us the season pass was not there and there’s was nothing anyone on sight could do. Maybe we’ll get a refund or credit for our stay but I doubt it. Oh best of all is the raccoon or possum scat everywhere, smells great in the coach.
