From a quaint Victorian cottage overlooking Hobart Indiana's historic waterfront emerges an eclectic owner driven Bistro. David and Linda Papp and Chef Scot Hinkel run this farm to fork venue. Scot writes a new menu every week and uses what nature provides him seasonally to create an ever changing array of new dishes. Because of the choice to omit a walk-in freezer or cooler the Bistro is proud to offer the freshest farm to fork fare. 54 Main Bistro features 1895 architecture, waterfront al fresca dining and a Boutique Bar that boasts small batch Organic Spirits, an extensive American Craft Beer list and an Organic/Biodynamic sustainably farmed wine list. Our limited hours allow us to hand pick all of our own produce from farmers markets, create personal relations with local farms, and provide you with the freshest and highest quality fare anywhere.
