“Smoked meats made with love”
A family owned business that takes great pride in the art of quality smoked meats. Established in 2010, Gatlin’s has quickly become a staple in the Heights community and abroad. Greg Gatlin one of three co-owners started the family business as a hobby that blossomed into a small catering business out of his home. As the catering started to grow, so did the demand for a storefront to enjoy the delicious smoked meat. In the spring of 2010 an opportunity presented itself and the story began of the little house in the Heights cranking out “old school” Texas barbecue. The trio strives to provide the best barbecue in Houston coupled with genuine customer service and a family atmosphere. Being native Houstonians with strong ties to both Texas and Louisiana, the regional flavors are apparent in many of their dishes, but the secret ingredient in each and every dish created is LOVE!
