“Family owned since 1994”
Our new name has over a century old Texas heritage. Sicilian, Michael Angelo Massa, opened The Oyster Parlor in the strand district of Galveston around the turn of the century. His sons, Louis and and Tony, began Massa's Oyster Bar in downtown Houston in 1944. Louis' sons, Joseph and Michael, continued the Massa family tradition when they took over in 1984. Now SOUTH COAST GRILL and BLUE celebrate a new era for the third generation of the Massa family's legacy.
