Mia Bella Trattoria

Mia Bella Trattoria – which translates as “My Beautiful” Trattoria, is a delightful combination of Italian tradition and regional American twists.  With multiple locations, the dining destinations are fun, intimate and moderately priced just like the traditional Trattorias where Italian families gathered for wine and delicious food.  In a tradition of his own making, Owner/Chef Youssef Nafaa has created an exciting menu of familiar foods pushed to a new level with daring preparations and imaginative ingredients.  Wine lovers will find a pleasingly extensive list of evenly priced wines while those seeking cocktails will find the same combination of classic recipes and creative mixings which set the menus apart. In 1998, Bella Restaurants Group was born. Under this corporation Chef Nafaa opened and successfully sold one of the first Tapas restaurants in Houston, Mi Luna in the Rice Village. A year later Chef Nafaa created a concept centered around, “Italian food with a Twist,” with Mia Bella Trattoria. Within a few short years, Mia Bella Trattoria became a successful franchise locations opening in Sugar Land, Green Street and Vintage Park. With the opportunity to open another restaurant in the Green Street shopping center of Downtown, Houston, Chef Nafaa opened the doors to Andalucía Tapas Restaurant & Bar. Rounding out the collection of restaurants in Bella Restaurants Group, the Mia Bella Trattoria franchise will expand to Greenway Plaza in Spring 2017 as the 5th location in the heart of one of the most populated business districts in Houston as well as one of the most affluent residential areas. Throughout the growth of the Bella Restaurants Group brand, Chef Nafaa has also had success with a popular creperie franchise known better as Coco Crepes, Waffles & Coffee. In 2006, he opened his first location in Midtown and now has 3 additional operation locations with more on the way!
