Very nice campground right on the lake. Shaded sites bathrooms were clean. Great price!
Very nice! We got to the park after dark, so we didn't really see the beautiful scenery until the morning. What a wonderful place to wake up to! Great price!
Lewis and Clark State Park is named for Meriwether Lewis, Secretary to President Thomas Jefferson, and Captain William Clark, United States Army, who were commissioned by President Jefferson in 1804 to head an expedition into the northwest to explore the vast territory purchased from France. With twenty-six men and supplies, Lewis and Clark led their expedition up the Missouri River from St. Louis by keelboat. The Park has a variety of outdoor activities to choose from including fishing from Blue Lake, swimming, hiking, hunting, biking and wildlife viewing.
Nice park, beautiful lake. Facilities are very clean. Lots of shade. Quiet area.
