The Cornell Plantations (80 ha / 200 acres) are botanical gardens, including the F.R. Newman Arboretum, located adjacent to the Cornell University campus in Ithaca, New York. It includes 40 different nature areas covering 4300 acres of rich and diverse habitats. The Plantations also maintains four gardens on Cornell's central campus. They are open daily without charge.
The botanical gardens were just so majestic. The flowers were in full bloom when we went here. The whole place was just so bright, colorful and alive. A great stop for those who are nature lovers. De-stress; take a walk around this beautiful plantation and be awed by the wonderful scenery that they offer.
