On the Hell Creek Arm of Fort Peck Lake, this park provides facilities for most water sports, as well as excellent walleye fishing. Hell Creek also serves as a launching point for boat camping in the wild and scenic Missouri Breaks. The park is at an elevation of 2,231 feet and encompasses a sprawling 337 acres. There are 55 campsites, 45 of which have electrical hookups. The park also offers a fish cleaning station. We offer boating, fishing, swimming, water skiing, windsurfing and much more!
Endless road of gravel aka hells creek. We made it down the road 6 miles and couldn’t take it anymore so we turned around. Not fun hauling a camper. Who knows how far it actually is. The address put in on this site says 11 miles in but the sign on the road says 25 miles.
Gravel road is rough! 25 miles of thick gravel with twists and turns - not sure how campers and boats get back there but worth it. Bring your own water - there is potable water but so heavily treated, it tasted like chemicals.
